Photos: John Lennon's 69th Birthday Celebration at Strawberry Fields

Musicians gather and perform at New York's Strawberry Fields to celebrate John Lennon's 69th birthday at Strawberry Fields, Central Park, New York on October 9th, 2009.

Participants include THE MEETLES (New York's most fun Beatles tribute band), plus many musicians who make at least two pilgrimages to Strawberry Fields each year to celebrate John and the Beatles' music. Strawberry Fields is where the IMAGINE memorial mosaic is sited; he and wife Yoko Ono liked to stroll in this area of Central Park.
