NYC Birders Take Note: The Christmas Bird Count is Happening on Sunday, December 17th

If you've never participated in an Audubon Society Bird Count, it's a great experience. You have to get up very early (we meet at 8:00 AM at the South Pumping Station of the Reservoir in Central Park), but it's a great way to meet fellow NYC-based birders, have some fun identifying the many diverse bird species in the park, and enjoy a hot complimentary lunch at the Armory.
