Wild Parrot Expert Marc Johnson to Present on Parrot Conservation at ASPCA this Thursday

National Bird Day - January 5thTo commemorate National Bird Day, Marc Johnson, a friend to parrots generally and a true friend of America's wild monk parrots (Marc designed the "monk bunkers" that kept many of them alive last year after United Illuminating and the USDA declared war on the parrots), will be giving an important talk in Manhattan this week. Titled The Survival of Parrots: From Conservation to Animal Control, this presentation is sponsored by the ASPCA and the Mayor's Alliance for NYC Animals.

When: Thursday, January 4, 2007, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Where: ASPCA Board Room, 424 East 92nd Street (between 1st and York Avenues), Manhattan
